Overview
The Supplier Module is a premium add-on to Z2 Part Risk Manager. It applies the Z2 supplier score across every supplier on your bill of materials, flags the ones it deems high risk, and lets you trace a supplier straight back to the MPNs you buy from them. If you already have Supplier Insights, you are grandfathered into the module at no additional cost, and the data will look familiar.
Most supplier risk work starts with a name someone heard about and ends in a spreadsheet. This flips it. Z2 scores the suppliers on your bill of materials and shows you which ones it deems high risk, so the question is not whether you are exposed to a given company but which of your suppliers deserve attention first.
Knowing a supplier is high risk only helps if you know what you buy from them. Select the supplier and Z2 returns the MPNs on your BOM that come from it, and the products those parts sit in, so the next conversation is about specific components rather than a company name.
