Product Feature
The Specification Module lifts the cap on how much part detail you can pull at once, and lets you view a commodity with only the parametric features that actually apply to it.
Overview
The Specification Module is a premium add-on to Z2 Part Risk Manager. It removes the ceiling on the standard report builder, so every parametric value and quality grade on a part is available across the full BOM, and re-columns the table to the fields that matter for whatever commodity you have selected. It is the part detail you already ask for, without the export limits.
Parametric data does not generalize. The fields that describe an operational amplifier are not the fields that describe a MOSFET, so a single table across a mixed BOM is mostly empty cells. Select a commodity and Z2 re-columns the view to the parametric features relevant to it. Switch to another commodity and the columns change with it.
The standard custom report builder carries a limited set of parametric values, because no single set spans every product line Z2 covers. This module removes that ceiling. If a parametric exists on the part, it is available across the BOM, which is what turns a specification question into an export rather than a project.

Specification Module is one capability inside Z2 Part Risk Manager, the industry's largest component intelligence platform. Search and score 1B+ parts across obsolescence, compliance, sourcing, and supplier risk, all in one view.
Common Questions
No. The module runs against the BOMs you already manage in PRM. Your parts are ready to export as soon as it is enabled.
No, it removes its ceiling. The standard builder still works the way it does today; the module lifts the cap on how many parametric values and commodities it can carry.
The Specification Module is an add-on to PRM rather than part of the base product. Get in touch and we will walk you through what it covers and how it is priced.
Yes. The module layers full parametric export onto the BOMs you manage in PRM, so it runs on top of a PRM subscription.
