Overview
The Responsible Minerals Module is a premium add-on to Z2 Part Risk Manager. It rolls the CMRTs, EMRTs, and AMRTs you already collect per part up to BOM level, and extracts the smelters named inside those reports, attributed back to the supplier and parts that named them. If you already have Z2 Responsible Minerals, you are grandfathered into the module at no additional cost.
PRM already shows the CMRT or EMRT on an individual part. The module collects them across the bill of materials, so instead of opening reports one part at a time you get the mineral position of the entire product in one place, including which parts have no report at all.
The value inside a mineral report is the list of facilities it names. Z2 extracts those smelters from every report on the BOM and attributes each one back to the supplier that declared it and the parts it covers, so you can answer who is in a product without reading a single spreadsheet.
A smelter list is only actionable if you know where it entered your product. Every extracted facility carries the supplier that reported it and the components on your BOM it applies to, so a question about one smelter turns into a specific list of parts and suppliers to go back to.
