It puts a carbon estimate on every component in your BOM and aggregates those figures to product level, so a product footprint is built from its own parts rather than a separate sustainability exercise, using data your team already maintains.
A single number for a product tells you where you stand but not what to do. Because the estimate lives on each component, the rollup can be broken back down, so you can see which parts carry the most and where a change would move the total.
