Real-Time Distributor Inventory and Pricing

See live stock and pricing for any MPN across thousands of distributors in one view, before you commit to a buy.

概要

Real-Time Distributor Inventory is the market availability layer inside Z2 Part Risk Manager. It aggregates live inventory and pricing from 10,000+ distributor and broker sources into one screen, so you stop searching vendor sites and emailing distributors one by one. Each source is labeled franchised, independent, or excess, so you can plan production around real availability instead of catalog estimates.

Plan production around real availability

Live availability across every source

Look up an MPN and you see real-time quantity and price from 10,000+ distributor and broker sources, refreshed daily. Availability is aggregated per MPN, so you get one defensible number for how much is on the market right now, with quantity, unit price, and price breaks side by side for comparison without a spreadsheet. A multi-tab, multi-email sourcing exercise becomes a single query, so you validate a design against real stock before the BOM is locked and confirm coverage in one pass.

Franchised vs. independent, clearly labeled

Not all inventory carries the same risk. Part Risk Manager tags each source as franchised (authorized), independent, or excess. Franchised stock carries the manufacturer's traceability and warranty; independent and excess supply may fill a gap fast but warrants extra counterfeit scrutiny. With the label on every offer at the point of decision, sourcing and compliance can route high-reliability parts to franchised supply only and reserve the independent market for genuine shortages with proper inspection.

Pricing and lead time for planning

Real-time pricing is paired with lead-time visibility, so the availability view feeds directly into production planning. You can estimate landed cost and timing before you order, model buying from one vendor versus splitting across several, and spot when a part has thinned to a few sources at inflated spot pricing. Because the data is live, the price and quantity you act on reflect the current market, which matters most on long-lead and allocated components where a wrong buy ripples straight into the schedule.

Alerts when stock runs low

Set a configurable safety threshold per part, and an alert fires when aggregated availability falls below it, so your team can place a bridge buy, qualify an alternate, or escalate before the line is exposed. The alerts run continuously against the same live feed as the availability view, so the platform watches the market for you. Paired with the lifecycle and PCN signals already in Part Risk Manager, sourcing gets one place to catch supply problems early.

よくあるご質問

Where does the inventory data come from?

Part Risk Manager pulls live inventory and pricing from 10,000+ distributor and broker sources, refreshed daily. Results are aggregated per MPN, so you get one total-availability figure and can compare offers across vendors in a single view.

Can I tell franchised inventory apart from independent or excess stock?

Yes. Every source is labeled franchised (authorized), independent, or excess at the point of decision. That lets sourcing route high-reliability parts to authorized supply and reserve the independent market for genuine shortages.

How do low-stock alerts work?

You set a configurable safety threshold per part, and Part Risk Manager fires an alert when aggregated availability drops below it. The alerts run continuously against the live feed, so the platform watches the market and flags shortages before they hit your build.
