Events & Alerts in Z2 Supply Chain Watch lets you configure which event types and regions trigger a notification, so your team reacts to real exposure instead of noise. When a critical event hits a site that produces your components, the alert names the impacted MPNs and arrives both in the platform and by email.

Disasters, conflicts, trade restrictions, and shortages occur constantly near manufacturing regions, but proximity is not impact. In the Create Alert workflow you choose which event types to hear about, such as geopolitical or natural disaster, and limit alerts to events with a high probability of affecting your sites. You get a feed of events that touch your parts, not a flood of notifications for incidents that happen near your suppliers and never reach your line.

Critical alerts name the affected MPNs

When an event qualifies, Supply Chain Watch maps it against your BOM and the sites that produce your components. On the Alerts screen, Critical Alerts let you open the impacted item count to see exactly which part numbers are affected.
