Events & Alerts filters hundreds of daily global disruptions down to the ones that touch your specific parts and sites, then names the affected MPNs.
Überblick
Hundreds of disruptions happen worldwide every day, and most never touch your supply chain. Events & Alerts in Z2 Supply Chain Watch lets you configure which event types and regions trigger a notification, so your team reacts to real exposure instead of noise. When a critical event hits a site that produces your components, the alert names the impacted MPNs and arrives both in the platform and by email.
Disasters, conflicts, trade restrictions, and shortages occur constantly near manufacturing regions, but proximity is not impact. In the Create Alert workflow you choose which event types to hear about, such as geopolitical or natural disaster, and limit alerts to events with a high probability of affecting your sites. You get a feed of events that touch your parts, not a flood of notifications for incidents that happen near your suppliers and never reach your line.
When an event qualifies, Supply Chain Watch maps it against your BOM and the sites that produce your components. On the Alerts screen, Critical Alerts let you open the impacted item count to see exactly which part numbers are affected. That turns a headline into a prioritized work list: which parts to investigate and which manufacturers to contact before the disruption flows downstream.
Everything on the Alerts screen, including critical alerts and impacted MPNs, is also emailed to your team. Act the moment an alert lands, or open it in the platform to explore the event. As you adapt, mark issues resolved to keep the alerts view focused on what still needs attention.
Events & Alerts works because Supply Chain Watch already knows where your parts are made. Once your BOM is mapped to its direct and sub-tier sites, Z2 monitors all of them for disruptions and scores their risk. Alerts are the action layer on top, connecting global event monitoring to the MPNs and sites that matter to you.
