Common Questions
Singapore restricts six hazardous substances in household electrical and electronic equipment under the Environmental Protection and Management Act, enforced by the National Environment Agency. Compliance Manager assesses each part against all six from the same BOM you use for your other RoHS markets, so Singapore is answered in the same pass rather than as a separate project.
Lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium, plus the PBB and PBDE flame retardants, each assessed at the homogeneous-material level against the 0.1% weight limit, with cadmium at 0.01%. The four phthalates restricted under EU RoHS are not part of the Singapore list, and Compliance Manager keeps the two scopes distinct so an EU result is not mistaken for a Singapore one.
